right now I am freezing my butt off, just coming in from the outdoors. It's colder today that it was yesterday on the slopes.
SKIING was a blast. It was my first time going, and once I finally got the hang of the whole ski things(after my ski-school lessons) I wasn't too shabby. I went with my church group, and i got to see COURTNEY and phillip there. That was exciting. All in all it was a great day, other than the mustard on my seat in wendy's, and the fact that no one from our group kareoked (=O). It was a great day, and LOOK, I even wrote about it in the LiveJournal(Courtney;)).
Thanks for making it awesome--all of you ;);).

my long weekend has been pretty good so far. no complaints at least, except for all the homework i have that i haven't started. uhm...i'll sum it up for you
Thursday:i spent the night with megan, lisa, and casey at megan's house. Yumm. Late Thursday night was awesome, i can't even begin... It was just too great.
Friday:i woke up, and headed home at about 3ish. I went to Sandy's. the first band sucked, like woah, so we(ashley, lauren, lauren, caroline, some other guy??) went to the other part of sandy's to see mekenna, brittany, and mallory. We went beck when Stories Never Told was playing...yumm. It was all good except for the smoke, and the really drunk guy that was hitting on everyone..:-/. i also got to see PAM, yes i didn't really get to talk to anyone.
Saturday:my mom, my brother, and i went to Raleigh to see the titanic exhibit thing. it was pretty good, but at the end, i found out i died, that was pretty depressing :(. Then, we went to my sister's house in Durham to celebrate my birthday, i think. A lot of people ended up being there and it was fun, except i missed my computer. that was selfish, i should take it out, but i won't

today is new year's eve
tonight i'm going to a party and inviting the toweled anna to come with me, then, hopefully she is spending the night. WHOO! Except we will have no lucky charms.
Anyway, i haven't updated in forever because i've been in IN visiting the family. A couple things happened there, one of which, i got a new unexpected hair cut :-O, yeah. So, while we(me, my sister, and two of my brothers) were there, my sister had a little 'get together' thing. It was all good till after we ate, i got a random hair cut from a girl that was there. She was like in 6th grade or something, and she asked me if she could have some od my hair cause she liked it. I was like, okay, whatever, thinking that she was just joking. Then, she asked my brother for his pocket knife(still thinking that she was joking), and she opened it up, and put it to my hair, i didn't really think she would cut it, but i was wrong. And silly Alyssa didn't tell her to stop. So now, i have a nice unusual hair cut, don't even think about making fun of it!!! Oh well, it will grow out...eventually.
That's about all the news for now, i will hopefully have some more really early tomorrow morning ;);)

Okay, time to update:
Saturday: I woke up at like 11, maybe, and went to the with Lauren. hah, we just sat there, watching game after game... we also sat courtney and her boyfriend(;)), frannie, and katie. Then, i finally got to see LOTR!!
I saw it with laura, matthew, sean, and zak. It really sucked that i got front row seats though...it was too close. I almost fell asleep twice, and my legs and arms were all alsleep, and i was freezing my butt off. But, other than that, i guess it was okay...naw, it was pretty good. Then, i was supposed to go to Sandy's and see the bands play, but my mom picked me up 50 minutes late, so i couldn't :(, and according to everyone i talked to i missed out on a lot, which really sucked. The baby was <i>really</i> cute too!! At church anna and i saw a lot of people...tyer, mitchell, nicole. THEN, the fun part really came...we went back to anna's house and went on a 3(?) hour walk... yeah. I got to meet a lot of people though, <i>and</i> i got to see chessaville ;);). Our walk ended at michael's house where chessa, anna, courtney, and i hung out for a while. Then i went back home to talk online till about 1(of course) <strong>Monday:</strong> I was really bummed out about not going to cotillion, but i got to go to ashley's house instead, which was <i>awesome</a> ;). I got to pig out and watch legally blond two. hah. And i think ashley's dog liked me a little too much...;) Today, we <i>finally</i> got our Christmas tree WHOO. I know it's a little late, but at least we <i>got</i> one... And that's about it... <333 Alyssa |
